To avail this facility, the Unified Portal needs to be active in the UN (universal account number). After sending a missed call from the mobile number registered on 011-22901406, the phone will be automatically cut after two hours of ringing. This service is available free for the member. Apart from this, the benefits of these services can also be raised from non-smartphones.
If the member of the UAN is connected to any bank account, base and PAN, the member can get the final contribution and the details of provident fund savings.
The facility of obtaining information from Missed Call and SMS service is also available on the Candidate app for Provident Fund Saving and Final Payment information.
UAN active members can send their registered mobile number to 7738299899 and get information about savings and latest PF contribution available to EPFO. The member will have to send an SMS to 7738299899 by writing ‘EPFOOU UN’. This feature is available in 10 languages English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali.
To receive the SMS in any language except English, the first three words of the chosen language will be put after the UAN.
